Muslim map only carries the information of Scholars who fall into the category of Ahle-Sunnah.
According to principles and understanding of the creators of Muslim Map, Ahle-Sunnah
includes all traditional and orthodox scholars who - 1] Believe in Allah, 2] Believe in the Last
Messenger Muhammad (saw), 3] Believe in the divinity and completeness of the Quran, and
4] Believe in the special status of the Companions of the Messenger (saw) including the four rightly
guided Caliphs. Deficiencies of understanding in any of the above principles would invalidate an
individual to be viewed as a scholar on our site. In addition, any religious advise expressed by
the scholars listed here, do not necessarily reflect the views of Muslim Map.
